## Multipliers for a Given Angle

For `D = S * 1/sin(α)` in 0.1° increments between 0.1 and 10°

`D = S * (1/sin(α))` for a given angle `α` (which is `arctan(s/d)`); we get `D = S * (1/sin(α))`.

Note that:

• `α` in degrees
• arctan(`α`) (`α` in degrees; returns radians)
• 1/sin(`α`) (`α` in radians)
• 1/sin(arctan(`α`)) (`α` in degrees)

Use: For a measured angle `α`, multiply the known size of the object by the value in `1/sin(α)` to determine the distance.
