Wndsn MOA Converter
From shot groupings to MOA in one piece-of string operation with the Wndsn MOA Converter.
A tool for training and practice, the Wndsn Grouping-to-MOA Converter[1] enables you to take out the guess work of calculating shot grouping MOA, eliminating mental calculation errors. Simply input the shot grouping and the range distance and read the resulting MOA, all by aligning the provided string across the scales.
How to set it up
To install, knot the string through the provided hole. You can make a knot at the end or a loop to hold onto the string and keep it taut across the scales.
Accuracy
Accuracy is determined by the reading of the scale and approximation of the corresponding mark.
Units
Note that you can measure the shot grouping in cm or in on the left-hand scales and on the right-hand scales you can use yd or m for the shot distance. You will always read the correctly resulting MOA on the center scale.
Scales
The Grouping-to-MOA converter provides two scales on the front and on the back of the device respectively; use the appropriate side depending on the distance of your range. The front is suited from 0 to 100 yards and the back set of scales is suited for 100 to 600 yards (or meters, respectively).
Example
- The shots are measured as 1.85 in or 4.7 cm apart.
- The range length is 75 yards (or 68 m).
- We read on the center scale app. 2.5 moa.
